Happy New Year!

Happy 2009, everybody! I hope that New Year's Eve treated you well. Did you ring it in with good friends? Was anybody in Vegas? I saw a different boy band last night, The Big Wu . Alexis rocked it out in her own style.

Below are our resolutions for 2009, regarding our blog and the New Kids on the Block. We don't really tend to make personal resolutions, because we are rational enough to figure that if we're going to do something, the date on the calendar shouldn't really have anything to do with it.

Alexis and Kim's 2009 Resolutions:

1. Reply to emails and answer questions. We admit to being bad about doing that. Terribly sorry. It's nothing personal, we're just easily distracted.

2. Try to post more regularly. Just because we're not on tour doesn't mean that we're not doing interesting things... We'd do another NaBloPoMo thing, but that was really stressful so we're not sure we want to do it again.

3. Go to as many more shows as realistically humanly possible (keeping fingers crossed that this alleged cruise thing in May doesn't cause us to sell our toes or anything).

4. Follow through with things that we have said we were going to do. Melissa, your action figure prize is completed. Maybe we should just get together to give it to you instead of trying to get our butts to the post office.

5. Like the Girl Scouts song says, Make New Friends but Keep the Old. In other words, meet more of you! And get to know those of you who we do know better!

And okay, a couple of personal ones.

6. Alexis resolves to use her Wii Fit more often, as soon as her knee heals. She injured it in an attempt to be more like me.

7. I resolve to try not to stress out about things for which I don't have all of the information. The 2009 tour, for instance.

Looking at #s 4&5, maybe it's time we had a ProjectNKOTB happy hour? Would you be interested?
